My company uses DocuSign CLM for the review and signature of controlled documents, specifically those part of the Design History File for Medical Devices, used for submission to Notified Bodies. In a remote world, DocuSign CLM makes it really easy to send out documents for review and signature to various team members. The platform makes it very easy to view who has signed and who to remind about the document, and present deadlines to the signees.
  • Assigning signatories.
  • Reminding users to sign.
  • Placing specific action items within a document (ie. name, date, location).
  • It is not completely clear how to remind just those who have not signed off on the document, not the whole party.
DocuSign CLM is a great tool for working in a remote team. When a document has been reviewed and needs a signature, DocuSign CLM automatically integrates with you contacts in Microsoft, making it simple to add members of your team. Placing signatures in certain locations, throughout the document, is very easy. When dealing with a lot of different team members, DocuSign CLM makes it easy to keep track of due to the color-coding of attributes specific to each reviewer.

We use DocuSign CLM, formerly SpringCM for our multilevel CAPEX approval process. It had helped us on eliminating the need of paper copy, faster approval process and modification on the CAPEX documentation. Also, we didn't need to run behind the approvers anymore!
  • Paperless
  • Fast Tracking and Processing
  • Easy modification
  • Quick notification
  • Easy Sign box placement
  • OCR recognition of Names to help on Sign Box assignments
  • More flexibility on reminder settings
It is a perfect solution for following the right DOA process while approving the CAPEX, PO etc... forms. Besides this, I couldn't see any other usage of benefit.

Manual processing is old school and more time-consuming, we were looking for a system that was going to allow us to accelerate our business to another level. Docusign CLM has allowed us to create and execute contracts and agreements to our clients and helped us manage our business as per normal after everything has transitioned to remote work, we are now able to keep track of whom of our clients have opened and signed documents and vice versa.
  • Contract creation.
  • Reminders
  • Easy integration.
  • Swift process approval.
  • Can improve the integration process to reduce bugs especially when using Salesforce.
If you are looking for the best document management system that is easy to use, try Docusign CLM. It has become a very safe place for our organization to store documents permanently and if you are also looking into going paperless and not having to worry about misplaced contracts then you are at the right place.

For onboarding and pre-onboarding, I utilized it Since I was applying for a job in a different state and couldn't hand over paperwork in person, the procedure went well. For both parties, DocuSign made it easier to move forward. DocuSign's privacy and efficiency may be required by other parts of our company that deal with customers. Given that we deal with private and confidential information on a daily basis
  • Hundreds of agreement kinds can be pre-programmed into drop-down menus, and optional clause wording can be added
  • Contracts were thoroughly examined as part of the workflow process
  • A basic understanding of computer science is required
  • Conversion of currencies
In many sectors and industries it is necessary to maintain a program like this, DocuSign is a good fit, I'm not sure whether it's completely utilized in these sectors, but the financial and healthcare sectors are trailing behind in terms of technology and business procedures, respectively. In many industries, outdated practices are holding them back or creating inefficiencies.

DocuSign CLM is a great way that is both safe and secure in signing important documents. Customers utilize DocuSign frequently to send over contracts. It's easy to use and can be done on virtually any device even while on the go.
  • Quick & Easy to Use.
  • Safe & Secure.
  • Fast & Efficient Way to Send and Sign Documents to Customers.
  • Eliminates the hassle of sifting through long contracts.
  • Can be difficult to edit documents.
  • Easy to miss where to initial or sign on certain documents and contracts.
  • Could be more user-friendly design wise.
Recently I had a customer that was out of the office but needed to sign a document while out-and-about. She pulled up the mobile version and signed the electronic contract and got it over to me within minutes. It provides a fast and effective way to sign important documents without any hassle.

We regularly need to have contracts signed with consultants and partners. Our work is primarily making grants to nonprofit organizations and signatures are required in each transaction. Especially in the age of covid and remote work being able to complete these agreements and obtain signatures remotely and quickly is very useful.
  • It is intuitive and user friendly
  • It is easy to obtain and download
  • It is efficient and can be near instantaneous
  • It is possible that this platform makes signing documents so easy that signers may not be taking the full time to read contracts before signing. Regardless, the onus is on the user to do their due diligence in each instance.
This product is useful in countless scenarios. In my experience, particularly in B-to-B transactions. We use this service with consultants of many different types as well as with clients in our primary service- grant making. There are indeed some limitations with users/clients/partners who are very limited in their comfort with digital tools. However, we have been able to successfully complete each transaction we have undertaken so far.

DocuSign CLM makes it easy to track contracts throughout that process. It's definitely an excellent solution for contract organization.
  • Contract organization
  • Helpful customer service
  • Contract tracking
  • A few user experience issues can be frustrating
  • Dates don't always appear correctly
  • Rollout seems to be challenging across teams
I think DocuSign CLM is well-suited in any situation where there is a complicated contract process that needs to be managed by more than one team.

We use DocuSign as a legal binding on an employee to agreements, on customers to get approval using any device. It helps to
- Setup processes fast.
- Is always available.
- Allows flexible workflows to automate any agreement and approval process.
- Instant visibility into document status.
- Full digital audit trail for easy compliance and legal enforceability.
  • Employee agreement e-signing.
  • Policy enforcement acceptance.
  • Esops/shares grants terms and conditions acceptance.
  • Can't save signature set -you have to insert each text or signature in each document.
  • Font based signature don't seem legit.
  • You cannot download all documents but one by one.
Best use :
- Employee agreements/offer letters, especially during the pandemic.
- Policy amendments and legal obligations.
- New joiners training completion.

Less appropriate :
- Either adapt fully or disregard.
-Dont use for partial agreements.
- Avoid using where government authorities are involved as they don't consider it as legal.
- Email aliases do not work with DocuSign.

We use DocuSign CLM to automate different workflows with our direct sales to schools. Based on different contracts, agreements, purchase orders, and other workflows, we have everything automated and syncing with Salesforce
  • Easy to learn software
  • User interface
  • Third party integrations
  • Mobile website
  • Mobile application
DocuSign CLM is well suited for larger B2B orders within our organization. I feel like it it really doesn’t make sense for the e-commerce side of our business. And so for smaller e-commerce companies with less B2B contracts, it probably doesn’t make sense

We actually needed it when Covid happened and forced everyone to work from home - not that I'm complaining by any means, I love working from home. But ... our finance department and our contractors needed a legit form of signature to be able to process invoices and make payments. There are actually a lot of things that require legit signatures when dealing with our organization. This fit our need.
  • It's user friendly.
  • I've honestly never had an issue with the software.
  • We got a rep available if we ever had any issues which was nice.
  • I mean, it's a pretty easy and straightforward software. Use it when I need to sign a document for a vendor or invoice.
I only use it if a secure form of signature is required. Otherwise I just use Adobe Sign in the PDF. One has like a date/time stamp that cannot be edited, the other is like here you go it's my signature but not as formal.

I used DocuSign during my onboarding process. I didn't have to sign a physical document, scan it and send it over as everything could be done easily in DocuSign. So, it definitely saved a lot of time while giving a seamless experience.
  • Easy navigation.
  • Friendly Interface.
  • Upload feature is plus.
  • Took long time to respond when I used it last time. Might be internet issue but not sure.
  • Service and support can be improved.
Any organization that has a lot of contracts to manage can be benefitted from DocuSign. It was very easy to track my contracts when I used them. Also, it can save a lot of time during the contract lifecycle as many things are automated by it and it eliminates the need for human interference.

I used it while I was being onboarded virtually last year. It asked me to upload all my certificates and documents and the process was so hassle-free and paperless. Just a few clicks and it was done.
  • Upload document.
  • Review documents.
  • Provide details to the HR.
  • Background documents verification.
  • Document submission.
I used it while I was joining my company during the pandemic. All the HR policies were online and documents were paperless and just a few clicks away. It made the entire process very seamless and quick. All paperless was the best part during the hr process. Plus everything was on my drive so it was so easy to upload all the required documents in a few clicks. It also helped HR to get the documents and process them for background verification to the next team.

I send lots of contracts out between vendors and my clients. I needed a process to easily be able to track and edit and get contracts e-signed.
  • automating manual tasks
  • managing lifecycle of contracts
  • It was hard to navigate for simpler tasks, too many steps and processes.
It's better for larger companies that need all the features the program has. If you need just a simple contract signed, there are less complex programs available.

When we onboard new clients for long-term contracts, we use DocuSign CLM to send contracts and documents for signing which helps keep everything organized and on track. Previously, we didn't have a way of knowing which contracts have been signed and which contracts were not yet signed. Making the switch to DocuSign was a good option for the company to help keep up to date with pending documents.
  • Alerts when documents are signed
  • Notifications if customers don't complete any or all of their required tasks
  • Showing clients exactly where to sign
  • Making signing easy and fast
  • It could have been a little easier for customers that aren't in front of a computer
  • We received word from customers that they prefer a paper version
I've used DocuSign as a consumer as well as the company. When I purchased my house, pretty much all of the documents were signed electronically using DocuSign and the process was seamless. When we use this for the business, it helps a lot with the organization of documents and it ensures that documents are signed correctly to our specifications and in a timely manner.

In my organization we use DocuSign for grant writing, and other memos that require an electronic signature.
  • Electronic signatures.
  • Templates.
  • Less ads.
  • Expanded formatting & design.
  • Expanded fonts.
Doc you sign as well suited to be use when closing on mortgage loans, dealing with letters and memos that require multiple signature workflows, and anything that relates to items that require signatures electronically. You can also be well-suited for employees who need to sign off on acknowledgments to policies and procedures.

We use DocuSign CLM to sign contracts with customers and sign paperwork with utility providers for incentives for our customers.
  • Email all details.
  • Follow-up emails after signatures received.
  • Lets you know if there is a signature missing.
  • So far, I wouldn't change a thing. Seems to work great for us.
We do lighting upgrades for commercial customers with incentives from utility companies. We use DocuSign to receive paperwork from the utility company, sign it and then the customer receives the paperwork (contract) and signs it. We then all get a copy with all signatures via email for our records.

We use DocuSign for both internal and external documentation needs. Internally, as we now work 100% remotely, we sign all documents via e-signature. Since I am running the client success and sales teams, we sign many new contracts and update the existing ones. DocuSign is so handy to do all those work. We also use DocuSign as a storage place for all important docs. DocuSign makes it so easy to generate a document to sign by multiple parties. It solves many problems but the biggest help is saving time and making sure that all is done in a secure way. I particularly enjoy using the templates, custom fields, and notifications. I recently discovered that it can be integrated with our CRM so we will move forward with more automation. Usually, our sales team uses the tool and it helps us close deals very quickly so that we can move with the implementation stage. I would suggest to new users to estimate which plan would work better for them and choose the right one. Our initial plan was not a good fit for us, we had to upgrade and the DocuSign team was helpful.
  • Generating a document for signing by multiple parties
  • Adding customization and branding for your organization to the documents
  • Creating templates for repeated uses
  • Sending documents for signature and setting notifications
  • Storage of signed documents
  • Checking status of signature
  • Increase sending limit for initial plans
  • Faster return for client service requests
  • When correcting a document, no new email is sent for notification of an update. The clients have to go back to the old document, and it feels uncomfortable for them.
A great solution to create a document to send for signature by multiple parties. Effectively used by sales teams to pass the initial contracting steps. Customizing some documents and adding branding of your organization. Creating your own templates for those documents you use often to save time. Storage of the documents signed by your team in one place - very convenient.

Problem: Revenue contracting cycle was taking more than 60 days and 3.2 process cycles before getting to the client.
Problem: No central repository existed for contracts, consuming thousands of staff hours looking for agreements.
Problem: No central repository existed for contracts, leaving leadership without the ability to review final/authorized agreement when addressing a client's concern.

The solution was used company-wide (revenue and expense) and among four lines of business (RR, Real Estate, Sand Unitization, Industrial Development).
  • Ability to templatize hundreds of agreement types (dropdowns, optional clause language)
  • Workflow process, ensuring contracts were properly vetted
  • Currency conversion (from numbers to language) relies on an MS-Word solution that is buggy. Won't convert 7+digit numbers.
  • Could be easier to engineer a template (requires some technical training).
A great solution:
  1. templatizing agreement types;
  2. driving workflows with conditions,
  3. archiving documents and attributing them by master data

I had wished that it was easier to engineer workflows and templates (greatest opportunity to expand).

I used it when onboarding and pre-onboarding. It was a seamless process since I applying for a job in another state and couldn't physically hand documents over. DocuSign made it easier for both parties to move forward. I believe there are other departments in our company that work with clients such that they need the privacy and efficiency DocuSign offers. Since we handle sensitive data internally and externally.
  • User-friendly.
  • Seamless integration.
  • Modularity in features.
  • Customization.
DocuSign is well suited for finance, HR, and health industries. I'm unsure if it's fully leveraged in these industries, but for the case of finance and health, these industries are lagging in tech and processes. A lot of sectors are still functioning in old practices that are causing them to lag or generate inefficiencies.

We have been using SpringCM for about two years now within our sales organization. It is our primary contract management tool.
  • Upload feature.
  • SpringCM dashboard for seeing your tasks.
  • Email notifications.
  • Not user intuitive.
  • Unreliable - crashes and you don't know if your contract was sent to the client.
SpringCM is well suited for contract management but it does a poor job and causes more frustration than help as a user of the software.

We use SpringCM as a contract repository and as a tracker for renewal/termination/expiration date tracker. It is used by the legal department but supports the entire organization. We had a problem locating contracts, determining which contracts were in effect and missing key renewal or termination deadlines.
  • You can easily find contracts once you put them in the system.
  • Can set up your own contract attributes.
  • Support is fantastic.
  • Does not automatically convert contracts into searchable text.
  • Need to manually set up reminders which leaves room for human error.
  • No easy way to see what terms we have agreed to in other contracts.
If you want to use SpringCM with Salesforce it seems like this program is perfect for that integration. If you want to use it as just a contract repository and/or reminder tracker, there are probably better options.
